Garbage and Recycling

Trash and Recycling Rates Effective November 2024

$22.50 minimum charge (includes recycling)
$0.70 per 30 gallon bag tag charge

Make sure your garbage is tagged and out by 7:00 a.m. on your garbage day.

Residential recycling day is Thursday.  Make sure your recycling is out and sorted by 7:00 a.m.

The city will pick up paint cans as long as there is no liquid in them. They do need to be completely dried out.

Special Garbage Pickups are based on amount of time & weight (current landfill tonnage charge).  Minimum charge is $40.00.  Appliances require a $65 tag (1st appliance-additional tags are $35) that can be purchased at the city office ahead of time.  At this time, tv’s (except flat screens) & computers will not be picked up even with an appliance tag.

Roll Offs

Rental: $120 for first five days, $5/day after. Maximum of 30 days. Time, weight, and labor based on current landfill charges also apply.  Garbage has to be less than 1 foot above top of roll off.  Appliances & tires will be charged extra.

Dumpsters

Rental: $10 delivery, $10 pickup charge. Minimum of $40 per dump.  Maximum of 14 days. Time, weight, and labor based on current landfill charges also apply.  Appliances & tires will be charged extra.
